Each summer we offer three exciting drama camps: two for
ages 8 - 11 years old and one for ages 12 - 16 years old.
The campers experience all aspects of theater, from
improvisation and theater games, to technical and
performance skills. These skills are put to the test when
the 8 - 11 year olds perform in the ensemble of one of the
Children's Theatre Productions, and the teens take acting
to the next level with scene work, which they showcase for
parents and friends.
The 2007 camp dates for Camp One for ages 8 to 11 will be June 29 - July 10, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (no class July 4th), and July 11 - 14, 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. including performances in Snow White. Camp Two for ages 8 to 11 will be August 6 - 14, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and August 15 - 18, 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. including performances in Jungle Book. For ages 12 - 16 the camp will run July 16 - 27, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Each camp will be held at the Deb Fennell Auditorium, 9000 SW Durham Road, Tigard. The cost for each camp is $225.00 (space is limited). For information on dates and how to register call 503-620-5262. back to top |

Yes. The world premiere of Broadway Goes Christmas
was presented in 2005 and G.I. Holiday Jukebox by
Rick Lewis was presented in 2002. We have also staged
several original children's shows including
Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty,
Goldilocks, and Silly Goose. In addition, we
have presented readings and semi-staged productions of new
musicals by local playwrights, including Illyria and
The Ghosts of Celilo. We are actively
seeking original musicals
to produce in upcoming seasons. As a member of the
National
Alliance of Musical Theater, we have the opportunity to
preview original material when it workshops in New York.
We
welcome submissions from writers and composers. Please
call
first and we will let you know what to send.

How can I get involved with the theater if I am not an actor? |
|
The Broadway Rose Theatre Company is always looking for
volunteers to work in the theater lobby as
ushers, concession workers, ticket takers and more. We also
use volunteers to
assist with mailings, office work, sales, marketing and a
variety of committees dedicated to helping the theater
grow. The Broadway Rose Theatre Guild assists with events
and hosts an
annual fundraiser. If you are interested in volunteering,
please call
503-603-9862.

performance of the same show if available – return tickets
to box office at least 48 hours in advance to exchange.
There are no refunds or exchanges for single ticket sales.
Patrons who miss their performance may come to the theater and wait for stand-by availability for the same production. If we’ve got room, we’ll get you in. Unused tickets can be taken as a tax deduction. Your unused ticket will serve as your receipt. back to top |
