Dames at Sea

Book & Lyrics by George Haimsohn & Robin Miller
Music by Jim Wise
Directed by Peggy Taphorn

An engaging, tap-dancing, musical comedy satire, which affectionately spoofs the 1930's Busby Berkeley backstage films such as “42nd Street.” A would-be chorus girl arrives in New York with only a pair of tap shoes in her suitcase and a prayer in her heart - to win stardom in a big Broadway show. The setting is the deck of a battleship where Ruby, the talented tap dancer from the sticks climbs aboard as a youngster and disembarks a star! This irresistible show features such winning numbers as "Raining in My Heart" and "Choo Choo Honeymoon."

Nite Club Confidential

Written by Dennis Deal with Albert Evans & Jamie Rocco
Music by Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, and more
Directed by Abe Reybold

Three shots. Sirens. A body sprawled on the stairs. And a woman in an evening gown with a smoking gun… Step into the shadows in this stylish musical tale of fading torch singer Kay Goodman, Sinatra-style lounge lizard Buck Holden, and a rising young star named Dorothy. The show crosses the 1950 film noir classic “Sunset Boulevard” with an evening at the Copacabana, and features a classy mix of Cole Porter and other hits of the era like ''That Old Black Magic,'' ''Something's Gotta Give,'' and ''Goody, Goody,'' plus a few new songs written in perfect period style.
